Joe Hjelle is a sturdy, productive interior DL with clear run-game value
Joe Hjelle brings a pro-ready frame at 6-3, 300-plus pounds and backed it up with real production at Tulsa, posting 46 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in the 2025 season after 19 tackles in 2024. Reliable reporting also notes a strong PFF-style profile against the run, with power, block-shedding and tackle ability standing out more than pure pass-rush explosiveness. He looks like a dependable rotational piece who raises the floor of a defensive line, especially for teams needing a tough, assignment-sound interior defender.
