Corey Johnson brings Navy a steady two-way guard vibe with passing, steals and veteran composure
In the 2024-25 season, Corey Johnson averaged 2.6 points per game in 33 appearances for Navy, but his value showed up more in the glue-guy stuff: 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals and reliable perimeter activity. Earlier Navy coverage described him as a leader who was strong in assists and steals, and also noted he battled injuries in prior seasons before returning with a better team-first approach. If a roster needs a tough, low-drama guard who defends, moves the ball and raises the floor more than the box score, he’s a sensible fit.
