Colorado State’s all-around engine and program standard-setter
Ellen Nystrom is the kind of guard coaches love because she did everything: in her Colorado State career, she became the Rams’ all-time assist leader (584), ranked third in rebounds (877), and ninth in points (1,456), while earning Mountain West Player of the Year in the 2015-16 season. Her calling card was versatility, poise, and high-IQ play — she could initiate offense, rebound like a forward, and defend with toughness. The best fit? Any team needing a steady, connective playmaker who raises the floor and makes everyone around her better.
