Emmanuel Taban brings size, shooting touch, and steady minutes to Portland State’s backcourt
Taban is a 6'7" guard who gives Portland State an unusual blend of perimeter size and floor-spacing ability, with recent game logs showing he can chip in points efficiently when given minutes. His appeal is less about flashy volume and more about fit: he looks like a versatile role player who can stretch defenses, rebound his area, and provide lineup flexibility. The caveat is that the public stat sample is limited, so he reads more as a developmental glue piece than a proven high-usage star. For a team needing length, shooting, and positional versatility, he’s a useful fit.
