Michael Ambagtsheer brings size, burst, and edge-rushing pop to UC Davis
Ambagtsheer is a long, disruptive defensive lineman at 6-5 and 238 pounds who showed real impact for UC Davis in the 2021 season, finishing with 20 tackles and 4.0 tackles for loss, including 4.0 sacks[1][13]. Early writeups praised his ability to win with both speed and power off the edge, and his high-school résumé as a two-way player with production on both offense and defense hints at the athletic versatility that makes him intriguing[10][14]. He looks like a fit for a team that wants length, effort, and a pass-rush ceiling, though his profile suggests more upside than polished finished product[1][10].
