Compact, physical Delta Devils defender with local roots
Beckworth is a **5-foot-11, 205-pound junior** defensive player from Greenwood, Mississippi, listed on Mississippi Valley State’s 2023 roster and appearing in the team’s 2023 cumulative stats, which suggests he has been part of the active rotation.[1][4] The main appeal is his **compact build and local-development profile**: he brings a shorter, sturdier frame that can translate well to leverage, toughness, and physical play in the trenches or box, though publicly available sources provide limited performance detail beyond roster and participation data.[1][4] For a team, he looks like a **depth-and-development** prospect rather than a proven headline producer.[1][4]
