Beau Goodwin brings rangy, assignment-sound linebacker depth to Iowa State
In the 2024 season, Beau Goodwin played in 12 games for Iowa State, made two starts, and finished with 24 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and 2 pass breakups; in 2025, his stat line through the season page showed 31 tackles and 2 pass breakups. He stands out for his length, effort, and coverage mobility for a 6-3, 230-pound linebacker, and multiple team notes point to a player trusted in space and not shy about contact. If you want a steady, developing LB who flashes upside without needing the spotlight, he’s a nice fit.
