Former Duke linebacker with proven tackling range and disruptive playmaking
Christian Hood was a physically active **linebacker** recruit for Duke, ranked as a top-200 national LB prospect and a top-100 Texas defender coming out of Fort Bend Hightower, where he piled up **210 tackles** and **17 sacks** in his prep career.[2][4][7] At Duke, his profile points to a downhill, impact defender who can finish plays, create negative-yardage snaps, and contribute in run support and pressure packages rather than just rack up quiet tackles.[2][6]
