Former blue-chip Louisiana Tech QB whose biggest value is pedigree and pocket size
Jakson Thomson was a 3-star 2019 recruit and a record-setting high school passer, throwing for 5,813 yards and 51 touchdowns at Lake Highlands, so the appeal is clear: he arrived with real quarterback traits and a big-frame profile at 6-foot-3, 217 pounds[1][3][4]. His Louisiana Tech bio shows limited college production, with no recorded stats in 2019 or 2020, so the key question is less about box-score output and more about whether his arm talent, command, and development still translate into a fit for a QB room that values upside[1].
