Kaci Benton is emerging as Towson’s all-around spark plug and a doubles machine
Kaci Benton has quickly become one of Towson’s most productive bats, earning CAA Player of the Week honors after a blistering stretch that included nine hits, three doubles, two home runs, and nine RBIs; she also entered the 2026 season leading the CAA in batting average, hits, runs, and doubles, with her doubles total ranking among the best in the NCAA[1]. As a catcher/utility player, she offers lineup flexibility and impact speed on the bases, and her freshman-to-sophomore jump suggests a hitter trending up rather than a one-week flash[1][5].
