Derrick Jones brings transfer-ready length and polished two-way upside to Ole Miss
In the 2013 season at Eupora High, Derrick Jones flashed legit playmaking juice with 975 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns, while also adding 39 tackles and 6 interceptions on defense, which is why his profile has always read like a high-upside two-way athlete rather than a one-note prospect[14]. At Ole Miss, he arrived as a three-star recruit and a top-100-ish receiver prospect, giving the Rebels a versatile, competitive target with ball skills and defensive instincts baked in[14]. The appeal is the blend: size, range, and a knack for showing up in big moments. If a team wants a player who can grow into multiple roles and bring some swagger, Jones is a fit worth caring about[14].
