the Wolfpack’s steady leg who’s built for pressure
In the 2017 season, Carson Wise gave NC State a reliable kicking option, going 6-for-12 on field goals while hitting 35 of 37 extra points and scoring 53 points[1][4]. His value goes beyond the raw make rate: he brought experience as a graduate transfer, a strong track record from Carson-Newman, and the kind of calm, special-teams steadiness coaches want when games tighten up[2][3]. If your team needs a kicker with proven college reps and no mystery about his poise, Wise fits the bill[2][3].
