Alvin Wilson brings veteran, downhill linebacker grit to Alcorn State
In the 2017-2018 seasons, Alvin Wilson was a physical, experienced linebacker for Alcorn State, with ESPN listing him at 8 solo tackles in career stats and Alcorn’s 2017 game log showing a 9-tackle outing against Southern—proof he could flash real thump when the defense needed it. He’s a compact, tough run-stopper with community-college polish and a reputation for workmanlike intensity, not flashy production. If you want a linebacker who plays with edge, understands leverage, and fits a physical front, Wilson’s profile says “dependable tone-setter.”
