D2 Passing Prodigy with Arm Talent and Clutch Deep Balls
Jakolby Longino, senior QB for Midwestern State Mustangs (not Lamar), lit up D2 in 2025 with 359 yards and a 75-yard TD bomb vs. #7 Mountaineers, 350 yards & 2 TDs in a 56-31 loss, and ranked 12th nationally with 1,011 passing yards early season—showing elite arm strength for explosive plays with WR Demonte Greene[1][2][3]. His differentiator? Ice-cold deep-ball accuracy under pressure, even if sacked or pulled in shootouts. No injury flags, battle-tested intensity. Care? He's a high-upside dual-threat arm for teams needing big-play spark; perfect fit for pass-happy offenses chasing playoffs.
