Greg Dineen brings old-school Villanova backfield grit
Greg Dineen is listed as a Villanova running back, but the accessible records only surface older Villanova roster/stat references rather than current 2026 production, so his present-season impact can’t be verified from available data. What does stand out is the profile: a durable, physical back with a team-first fit who historically showed value as a complementary runner and return option, the kind of player coaches like for toughness, reliability, and doing the dirty work. If you need a polished, high-motor depth piece rather than a splashy stat-chaser, he’s the right flavor.
