Physical, high-volume Virginia corner who emerged as an instant starter
Jam Jackson was Virginia’s Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2024 after starting all 12 games and finishing with 58 tackles, 6 pass breakups and a half-sack, a profile that shows he’s not just a cover guy but a willing, physical tackler with SEC-style toughness in the run game. At 6-foot-2, he brings length, speed and press-man tools, and Virginia’s own notes plus EA ratings point to strong awareness, press ability and zone fit. The main flag is durability: he suffered a knee injury in spring 2025, so his fit depends on health and whether he regains that same snap-to-snap intensity.
