Veteran Stetson guard with shooting touch and steady floor game
In the 2023-24 season, Stetson guard Derrick DeWitt averaged 6.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game while shooting 36.4% from the field, and his long view at Stetson is notable: he ranks among the program’s all-time three-point shooters, which hints at a perimeter-first skill set and reliable spacing value. He’s the kind of experienced, role-ready guard who can bring shot-making, basketball IQ and leadership rather than volume scoring—useful if you want a composed veteran who can stretch defenses and settle a lineup.
