Alabama State DT Justin Mitchell: Anchor of the Hornets' D-Line
Justin Mitchell, the Phenix City, AL native and defensive tackle for the Alabama State Hornets, brings physicality and local pride to a SWAC defense needing interior disruption; while specific 2025 stats are sparse on ESPN's career page, his role as a starter highlights run-stuffing strength and relentless motor ideal for HBCU contenders. No notable injury history, his gritty intensity makes him a plug-and-play fit for teams seeking tough, undersized DTs who excel in gap control—perfect for rebuilding fronts eyeing conference dominance.
