veteran Jackrabbit DL with proven trench toughness
David Hettiger is a seasoned South Dakota State defensive lineman whose profile shows the classic trench grinder: physical, durable, and battle-tested. ESPN lists him as a Jackrabbits defensive lineman, and historical SDSU records show he contributed as an interior presence, including a 2012 game with 4 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 sack. The big takeaway is fit: if a team wants a dependable, no-drama line worker who brings effort and experience more than flash, Hettiger checks that box.
