Justin Spencer is a steady bullpen arm with strikeout bite for UMES
In the 2025 season, Maryland Eastern Shore right-hander Justin Spencer was one of the Hawks’ most effective pitchers, tying for the team lead with 31 strikeouts and posting the best strikeout-to-walk ratio on the staff at 31 K to 8 BB across 35.1 innings. He also flashed upside with a season-high eight strikeouts over 5.0 scoreless innings against Stonehill, and UMES noted he helped stabilize games with runners in scoring position. If you want a competitive, strike-throwing righty who can miss bats and stay composed in leverage, Spencer looks like a smart fit.
