Josh Covington brings proven backfield production and a low-ego fit for Grambling State
Josh Covington is a **Grambling State running back** whose profile suggests a dependable, physical back with enough production to merit attention, though public stat detail is limited in the current sources. He previously showed efficiency at Wingate as a true freshman, rushing **77 times for 303 yards and 6 touchdowns**, which points to a runner who can finish drives and contribute in short-yardage situations.[3] For a team, the appeal is a disciplined, complementary piece rather than a flashy headline grabber; current public listings confirm his Grambling State status, but not a full 2026 production snapshot.[1]
