Proven ball-hawk with All-Conference pedigree at Central Arkansas
Jaylon Lofton is a veteran Central Arkansas cornerback who earned 2017 preseason All-Southland Conference recognition and was named Southland Defensive Player of the Week in 2016 after a standout game that included an interception return touchdown[12][13]. In 2016, he appeared in all 13 games, made 10 starts, and finished with 42 tackles and 8 pass breakups, showing he can play sticky coverage and finish at the ball[2]. For teams, the appeal is clear: experienced, productive, and instinctive in the secondary, with a knack for disruptive plays rather than just empty highlight chasing[2][13].
