Mackenzie Willis gives Belmont a competitive, strikeout-capable arm
In the 2026 season, Willis has flashed swing-and-miss upside for Belmont, highlighted by a complete-game win with 8 strikeouts in Northwoods League action and a National Pitcher of the Week nod from 64 Analytics Softball after a big outing in March. She’s a right-handed pitcher with a proven high-school pedigree—2.27 career ERA, 219 strikeouts, and a 15-1 record at Douglas—plus she brings toughness and a work-ethic-first profile that coaches love. The upside is clear; the main watch point is consistency, as her 2026 ERA has been reported in the mid-4s so far.
