Long, Experienced Guard With a Tiny Akron Sample
Mayfield is a **6-foot-5 guard** who brings size and veteran background, but his Akron production has been extremely limited, with ESPN listing just **0.6 points and 0.8 rebounds per game** and Akron’s roster noting only sparse game action[2][5][6]. His biggest differentiator is positional length for a guard, which can help defensively and in matchup flexibility, but there is not enough recent stat volume to project him as a high-usage scorer yet[2][6]. If you need a low-ego, depth-oriented backcourt piece rather than a proven impact creator, he is worth a look[2][6].
