Charleston Southern’s veteran mauler with captain’s DNA
In the 2017 season, Jackson Williamson was a battle-tested Charleston Southern offensive lineman who started all 11 games, posted a team-high 63 knockdown blocks, and anchored a unit that helped the Buccaneers finish 47th in the FCS in time of possession. He was also a team captain, earned Big South All-Conference honors in 2015 and 2017, and had 51 career starts, which screams reliability and leadership. He’s the kind of tough, steady interior lineman coaches love: experienced, disciplined, and clearly trusted in the trenches.
