steady, versatile Montana State linebacker with tackling chops
Bryant Matthews is a dependable Montana State linebacker whose calling card has been production and role flexibility: in the 2007 season, he was second on the team with 66 tackles, including 22 solo stops, and he had already shown impact on special teams and defense before that. ESPN lists him as a linebacker for Montana State with career logs, while a Bozeman Daily Chronicle report highlighted him as a tough, Katrina-tested player who kept pushing through adversity. If a roster wants a physical, experienced, no-nonsense defender, Matthews looks like a fit.
