Wendell Crowe brings old-school linebacker grit to Louisiana Tech
Wendell Crowe is a Louisiana Tech linebacker whose value is rooted in physicality, discipline, and consistent run support rather than flash. The available Louisiana Tech stat archives show him contributing in multiple seasons in the early 2000s, including tackle production and special-teams impact, which points to a high-effort, reliable defender who did the dirty work. He looks like the kind of player coaches trust for toughness, assignment soundness, and intensity—an easy fit for a defense that wants a blue-collar tone-setter.
