Jamar Searcy is a compact, explosive Wake Forest back with big-play juice
In the 2025 season, Jamar Searcy flashed on limited touches for Wake Forest, logging 5 carries for 39 yards, including a 34-yard debut burst against Oregon State that hints at his home-run speed and tackle-breaking ability. He arrived as a three-star recruit after a monster senior year at Pittsburg High, where he posted 1,470 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, plus 300 receiving yards and 3 receiving scores. At 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds, his edge is versatility, quickness, and two-way toughness; the question is whether that smaller frame can hold up to a bigger workload.
