Connor Riddle brings disruptive downhill play to VMI’s linebacker room
Connor Riddle is a proven playmaker at linebacker for VMI, highlighted by his 2021 stretch when he earned Southern Conference and national Defensive Player of the Week honors after a dominant outing with 4.5 tackles for loss against No. 10 Furman and was later named SoCon Defensive Player of the Month.[1][2] His value goes beyond tackle totals: the production shows an aggressive, backfield-attacking style that can change games against the run and on key downs, making him a fit for teams that want an instinctive, physical linebacker who flashes impact-play ability.[1][2]
