Tayten Moore is Army’s clutch, multi-use spark plug
In the 2026 season, Tayten Moore turned into a sneaky-impact bat for Army: she hit .382 with a .965 OPS, drove in 14 runs, and added 29 total bases while handling the grind of multiple spots and staying reliable in the field[2][11]. The biggest separator is her timely production—she earned Patriot League Player of the Week honors after a 4–0 week that included her first career home run, a grand slam, plus a perfect fielding percentage and 22 putouts[11]. She looks like a high-effort, high-IQ fit for a team that values versatility, toughness, and a player who shows up in the biggest innings[1][3].
