Ryder Lawson is a reliable, pressure-tested leg for UVA Wise
In the 2026 season, UVA Wise kicker Ryder Lawson has already shown he can handle real-game pressure: he went 4-for-4 on extra points and made a 35-yard field goal in the opener against Presbyterian, while also showing range with kickoffs and the ability to attempt from 41 yards. His profile screams dependable special-teams value — compact frame, steady execution, and enough leg strength to matter — which makes him a useful fit for a team that wants a kicker who can both finish drives and flip field position.
