Jenny Jurjevic brings defensive energy and steady guard play to Iona
Jenny Jurjevic profiles as an energy-first point guard whose value comes from defense, pace, and intensity more than volume scoring. In Iona’s 2002-03 women’s basketball preview, she was described as bringing scoring and intensity, with 2.0 points and nearly one steal per game, while later roster data identifies her as a guard for the Gaels. She stands out as a gritty, low-usage connector who can pressure the ball, disrupt rhythm, and fit well on a team that needs toughness and effort at the point of attack.
