Joe Toth brings stout size and interior heft to Michigan State’s defensive front
Joe Toth is listed by Michigan State in the 2026 season as a 6-foot-2, 298-pound junior defensive tackle, giving the Spartans a dense, leverage-friendly body for eating blocks and holding the point of attack. His appeal is the classic interior-DT package: size, lower-body power, and the kind of physical profile that can help stabilize run defense even when the box gets messy. For a team, he looks like a fit if you want a rugged interior piece who can do dirty work rather than chase highlight-reel stats.
