T.J. Thiel is a Navy WR battling for snaps in a run-heavy, disciplined offense
Thiel enters the 2025 season in a competitive battle for playing time at Navy, which matters because receiver roles there are earned in a system that values precision, toughness, and blocking as much as catching passes.[3] He is a fit if you want a player who can survive the grind of Navy football and contribute in a scheme where attention to detail and physicality are non-negotiable.[3] Public stat sheets and roster info are limited, so his value is best read through role, fit, and how well he separates himself in practice rather than eye-popping numbers.[3][5]
