Sherrod Paige brings veteran versatility and real edge to NAU’s front seven
Sherrod Paige is a seasoned, physical defender who has shown versatility in the Northern Arizona system, with NAU listing him as an outside linebacker after originally noting him in the secondary. In his first year as a Lumberjack, he totaled 13 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 quarterback hurry and 1 interception, and earlier NAU notes highlight that move as part of a broader defensive adjustment[12][5]. He’s the kind of steady, experienced piece coaches like because he plays with captain energy and clear downhill intent, which makes him more than a box-score linebacker[3].
