Sneaky-speed SIU spark plug with a grinder’s edge
In the 2026 season, Southern Illinois outfielder Jackson Dibble profiles as a versatile, high-energy junior who can manufacture runs and pressure defenses; he’s listed at 6-foot-0, 210 pounds and has already shown impact as a runner, with multiple game logs noting stolen bases and runs scored, plus a sacrifice bunt that hints at real situational value[1][2][4]. He’s not just a box-score guy—Dibble’s appeal is the little stuff: he brings urgency, can create chaos on the bases, and fits a team that wants toughness and role flexibility rather than pure flash[3][7].
