Eli Small brings left-handed pop, sneaky speed, and clutch infield versatility to FAU
In 2026, Eli Small has shown the kind of all-around profile coaches love: a left-handed infielder with size, bat-to-ball juice, and enough speed to impact games on the bases. He opened his FAU season with an RBI double for his first hit as an Owl and later delivered a walk-off infield single plus a two-RBI double in conference play, underscoring a player who can flash in pressure moments. He also comes with proven summer-production upside, including a big 2025 Northwoods League run with 66 hits, 14 doubles, 5 homers, and 24 steals. If you need a versatile, competitive bat with a bit of swagger, he’s worth the look.
