Mikey Bentivegna brings big-play juice to Duquesne’s backfield
Bentivegna is a compact, multi-purpose runner with real playmaking history: at York Suburban in the 2022 season, he piled up 2,385 rushing yards and 32 rushing touchdowns, plus more than 3,000 all-purpose yards and a school-record 384 rushing yards in a game. At Duquesne in the 2023 season, he appeared in three games on kick return, including a 33-yard return against Stonehill and a 26-yard return at Merrimack. The fit appeal is clear: he offers burst, versatility, and return value, though his college sample is still small, so he profiles more as an upside mover than a proven feature back.
