Fairfield’s Defensive Anchor and Interior Stat-Stuffer
Stephanie Geehan was a high-impact forward for Fairfield whose calling card was defense, rebounding, and rim protection; in one standout game, she posted 22 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks, three assists, and two steals, and Fairfield later noted she became the program’s first MAAC Defensive Player of the Year while setting the school career blocks record.[1][2][5] She stands out as a fit for teams that want a tough, physical frontcourt presence who can change possessions without needing the ball run through her.[2][6]
