Spencer Johnsen is giving Indiana State a swing-and-miss lefty boost
In the 2026 season, Spencer Johnsen has emerged as a useful LHP for Indiana State, highlighted by a career-high 9 strikeouts over 7.1 innings in a Missouri Valley Pitcher of the Week outing and a 7-strikeout win over Illinois State. He’s a 6'0", left-handed junior who can miss bats, pitch deep enough to change a game, and has already worked effectively as both a starter and bullpen weapon. If you want a competitive, attack-minded lefty with visible upside and recent momentum, he’s worth a close look.
