Max Winders is a rising Butler arm with starter-level stuff and a winning track record
Winders has been one of Butler’s most reliable right-handers in 2026, posting a 4.48 ERA with 61 strikeouts and multiple strong outings, including an eight-shutout-inning, five-strikeout gem that earned BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll recognition. At 6-foot-0, 225, he brings a physical frame and a composed, strike-throwing profile that can hold up in the rotation. The differentiator is his ability to miss bats while working deep into games, which makes him attractive if you want a pitcher who can stabilize a staff rather than just flash velocity.
