veteran Davidson WR with proven efficiency and reliable hands
Erik Matson is a senior wide receiver at Davidson whose earlier college production showed dependable, efficient route-running and some pop after the catch, including 9 catches for 136 yards in the 2016 season with a season-best 5 receptions for 72 yards against Butler. His profile suggests a polished, assignment-sound target rather than a boom-or-bust deep threat, which can matter if a team wants a smart, steady pass-catcher who understands spacing and can start games. Fresh current-season stats and rankings weren’t available in the retrieved sources, so the best read is that he brings experience and reliability more than hype.
