R.J. Weise brings guard depth and efficiency upside to Rider
R.J. Weise is a **6-foot sophomore guard** for Rider who has shown a compact role-player profile: in the 2025-26 season he appeared in five games off the bench and scored two points, while his earlier college production at Misericordia showed efficient finishing and some all-around utility. He stands out more as a *steady, low-mistake depth piece* than a volume scorer, which can matter for teams that value defense, ball-handling, and toughness over usage. His fit is best for a system that needs a reliable guard with room to grow rather than a primary creator.
