Former Sacramento State DB with real ball skills and special-teams juice
Eddie Gillies’ Sacramento State profile shows a defensive back with speed, instincts, and playmaking flair: he was first-team all-city in high school, timed at 4.5 in the 40, and returned two interceptions for touchdowns as a senior in 2010. He also brought versatility as a receiver and kicker/punter, which usually signals a coach-friendly, high-football-IQ athlete. The catch: the available info is older, so this is more about his proven baseline than current 2026 production, but the upside profile is clear—competitive, multi-role, and disruptive when the ball is in the air.
