Special-teams-ready linebacker with Kent State size and upside
Curtis Witherspoon is listed on Kent State’s 2026 football roster as a 6-foot-1, 225-pound redshirt sophomore linebacker, which gives him the frame teams like for downhill, physical play[1]. Publicly available roster data confirms his current status at Kent State, but there isn’t enough reliable stat-tracking or scouting coverage in the available information to claim a breakout season yet[1][2]. The fit that jumps off the page is a player who looks built for contact, depth, and special teams value, with upside if he can translate his size into consistent range and tackling against faster MAC offenses[1].
