Purdue’s clutch, low-profile kicking weapon
Casey Welch is best remembered as a **reliable, pressure-shot kicker** for Purdue, with documented game-winning poise and a perfect small-sample resume on field goals and extra points in the available record. He stands out less for volume than for *timing*—the kind of specialist who can tilt a close game when a roster needs calm, accuracy, and composure more than flash. If you want a kicker who can handle leverage moments and won’t rattle easily, Welch’s profile makes sense; the main caveat is that the public stat trail here is thin, so confidence is based more on clutch indication than a long statistical body of work.[2][3]
