veteran Jacksonville State guard, but current impact data is limited
John Merit is listed as a Jacksonville State guard, but the available official roster information is sparse and does not provide current-season production or detailed scouting notes. The main takeaway is that he’s a known program presence rather than a clearly documented stat-leader, so the fit question hinges on intangibles and role value more than box-score output. Based on the limited public info, he’s not a headline-transfer type, but he may still appeal to teams that value continuity, depth, and a low-drama guard rotation piece.
