Wayne Thomas is a low-volume Troy RB trying to carve out a bigger role
Wayne Thomas appears to be a depth back for Troy rather than a featured producer right now, with only 10 carries for 40 yards in the 2025-26 season; that small sample suggests he has not yet broken into a major workload.[1] For a team evaluating fit, he is more of a watch-list player than a proven difference-maker at this stage, so the key question is whether his practice and special-teams value translate into a bigger, more efficient role going forward.[1]
