Penn State safety Jim Kanuch brought versatility, not star volume
Jim Kanuch was a Penn State defensive back with a versatile profile—listed by recruiting services as a safety and also appearing in program/stat records as a wide receiver—which suggests a player trusted for adaptability and football IQ more than flashy box-score production.[1][5] ESPN’s career page shows limited statistical output, so the real selling point is his positional flexibility and depth value rather than headline-grabbing numbers.[1] If you want a fit built on reliability, roster flexibility, and a player who can be moved around the lineup, Kanuch is the kind of understated contributor worth a look.[1][4][5]
