steady linebacker anchor for Lamar with proven tackle production
Jonathan Ekpe has been a dependable linebacker for Lamar, with ESPN listing him as a Cardinals LB and tracking his career stats profile, while Lamar’s own coverage has described him as an anchor for the defense. The biggest takeaway is his reliability: in the 2010 season he was credited with 22 tackles in one early conference note, and Lamar’s roster/history pages show him as a physical, experienced presence who has been in the program’s mix for multiple seasons. He looks like a fit for a team that values toughness, discipline, and a linebacker who plays with a workmanlike edge rather than flash.
